Evangellion has Asuka....
has Naruto has Sakura....
And Dragonball has Chi-Chi...

Just a coincidence or a true female stereotype? who knows! I believe she's the vision of the Oriental perfect woman... or the image of a western independent girl on the Oriental culture... one thing for sure the series will never be the same without them.
